Biography
VOJISLAV LUKOVICH

• Born in Belgrade, Serbia, on 1960.
• Graduated at 1989. at The Faculty of Fine Arts at Belgrade University .
• At the Belgrade National Museum worked on conservation and restoration of the old paintings on canvas and wood.
• In the same institution he acchived a title "Conservator-Restorer" (by The State Expert Exam).
• Participated as a member of a team on the conservation and restoration of the XV century frescoes.
• As a team member also, he worked on the reconstruction of the wall paintings at Sochi, Rossia.
• At the Center of Cultural Heritage , Nicosia (Λευκωσία), Cyprus, established Studio for conservation and restoration of the paintings on canvas and wood.
• As a chief restorer he prepared an exibition "A l' Image de Dieu", displayed at Strasbourg and Mulhouse, France.
• Worked as Profesor of Art at The University of Third Age, Belgrade.
• Participated at many exibitions presented iconography and conservation treatments.
• Published many experts texts in conservators rewiev.
• Member of ULUPUDS (Association of Fine & Applied Arts Artists and Designers of Serbia) and ICOM (International Counsil of Museums).
• His works can be found in such places as:
  • Museum of Serbian Orthodox Diocese at Saintandrea, Hungary,
  • Serbian Museum of Bread, Pechinci, Serbia, as well as in
  • Peter’s Charleton Icon Collection, Dublin, Ireland and in
  • "The Small Gallery of Sinisha Paunovic" at Belgrade.
• Wrote "The Small Herminia of Vojislav Zographos"-tehnology of egg tempera on wooden support.
• Works and lives in Belgrade, Serbia.
